Role Summary

The Maintenance Stores Clerk is responsible for processing orders, maintaining the stockroom and providing the proper care and storage of aircraft parts and tooling.

Key Duties

  • Responsible for all aspects of material and tooling control including issuing, receiving, inventorying, inspecting, and shipping of materials and tooling.

  • Prepare shipments for flights and ground transportation; ensure dangerous goods are properly shipped and accurately documented.

  • Provide service to internal customers to include supplying parts, equipment, tools, other supplies, and assist as needed.

  • Drive a variety of vehicles including pick-up trucks, vans, box trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

  • Drive between different maintenance stations to pick up or deliver materials.

  • Maintain warehouse and all assigned Maintenance Stores locations in a safe, clean, organized manner.

  • Maintain tool catalog for all company owned tools.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills

Required

  • 1 year of experience in warehouse, parts or materials or related area.

  • Strong verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Organized and able to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to learn and operate a computerized inventory system along with other programs.

  • Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia.

  • Safely and compliantly use and operate all required company equipment, vehicles, trucks, and PITs (power industrial trucks).

  • Consistently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

  • Bend, stoop, squat, reach, grasp, climb stairs/ladders and stand for extended periods of time.

  • Work a variety of shifts and schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Obtain and maintain airport security clearance.

  • Ability to communicate in English.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum age of 18.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Airport SIDA Badge Requirements

Important notification for employees working at an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge. Review theSIDA Badge Requirementsdocument for a comprehensive overview. If an employee does not qualify for a SIDA badge or has their SIDA badge pulled from them, the employee will be terminated.
