From our call centers or their homes, contact center and reservations agents handle everything from urgent travel plan changes to mileage award travel. Our agents are out-of-the-box thinkers who close each interaction with kindness.
Our work-from-home contact center positions
Our contact centers are located in SeaTac, WA; Chandler, AZ; and Boise, ID. You must reside within state lines of the center you are applying for.
To prepare you for success, you will be required to work from our company-designated facility for approximately eight weeks, including three weeks of full-time, in-office, fast-paced, intensive classroom training, followed by three weeks of on-the-job training. During training, you’ll need to cover transportation and accommodations at your own expense, if needed, to the company-designated contact center within the state you reside.
Soon after you have completed the initial in-office training, we will partner with you to get you working from your home office within a few weeks. The timing of working from your own home is based on meeting the requirements, as well as availability of equipment. While this position allows you to work from your home office, it is required that you remain at your workstation for extended periods of time, adhering to company scheduled breaks and lunches. Schedule compliance is closely monitored. Alaska Airlines is a 365-day, 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation, therefore schedules will likely include weekends, holidays, day and evening shifts, and could vary throughout the year.
We’re different from other virtual contact center jobs. You may be away from your co-workers, but you’re never alone. Technology, mentorship and training keep us connected. Successful Reservations Sales Agents connect with our guests with genuine care and help us create an airline people love and love working for.
We look forward to you joining our amazing team!
Round the clock schedule
Our customers need us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You should be available to work at least five 8-hour shifts per week, including evenings and holidays. While senior agents usually have first choice of shifts, you do have the flexibility to trade shifts with other agents. If you can flex with this kind of schedule regularly, you’ll find that doors to a bright future open wide.
