Role Summary
The Manager of Supplier Performance Data Analytics is responsible for managing and executing financial, productivity and operational analytical efforts in support of supply chain operations strategies at Alaska Airlines (AS). As a people leader, this role leads and establishes priorities for the team to ensure strong supply chain data architecture, performance metrics, reporting and material management business operations and improve performance and value.
Key Duties
Provide quantitative research, analysis, and support to identify Supply Chain Operations & Material Management business opportunities to improve performance and value.
Lead team and establish priorities of Supplier Performance.
Manage and execute analytical efforts to support material management strategies.
Identify and develop metrics to monitor material management processes and supporting vendor performance.
Identify and pursue opportunities to increase Supply Chain Ops & Material Management visibility beyond company boundaries to improve internal effectiveness.
Identify material operational trends and forecast changes necessary, supported with qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Develop financial, productivity and optimization models.
Prepare presentations and assist in presenting findings to senior leadership.
Ensure the data integrity of supply chain-related systems is maintained at levels necessary to effectively manage business processes.
Establish a supply chain data architecture and maintain a strategic plan to reduce complexity and increase visibility of supply chain information.
Develop opportunities to leverage and implement automated, data based decisions; Promote a discipline and culture of event based decisions.
Chair a working group to identify data discrepancies and develop quick resolutions to prevent further propagation while resolving existing errors.
Develop people through effective performance management and ongoing feedback, focusing on delegation for stretch assignments, growing and developing the team for capacity and growth, looking at performance across the team, and time management.
Shape culture of team through action, presence, and reinforcement of behaviors.
Serve as the Supply Chain Ops & Material Management liaison to other business areas to ensure that data requirements are understood by interfacing organizations.
Define process performance goals and track/report compliance with data related policies and standards impacting performance.
Coordinate data sources to reduce redundancy and administrative burden.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
5 years of experience of material program, project, or vendor management; or related area.
2 years of people leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Strong track record of effectively using analytics to guide optimal operations and quality outcomes.
Track record of managing complex work groups across shifts, geographies and experience levels.
Demonstrated ability to influence change and initiate actions that have strategic impact and drive a high-performance culture.
Experience with process design and AGILE practices.
Demonstrated experience working with large, complex data sets and disparate data sources across various platforms.
Experience building and maintaining complex supply chain financial models
Proficient SQL skills.
Experience with operations research techniques (Monte Carlo, Markov Chain, queuing theory, etc.).
Experience with version control software and tools (Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary Range
$107,100 - $160,650 / year
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
